Leicester have been linked with a £2m move for highly-rated Swindon striker Simon Cox from Swindon Town according to the Daily Mirror.

Cox has scored an incredible 27 goals in a struggling Robins team so far this season, and his form has apparently lead Leicester manager Nigel Pearson to cast an eye over the forward.

The player has also been linked with moves to Newcastle and West Brom in the last few days, both teams possible fixtures for Leicester in next year’s Championship season should all three end up there.

If chairman Milan Mandaric decides to open his wallet for Cox it would certainly prove a very popular decision around Filbert Way.
