Leicester moved back to the top of the League One table after a 1-0 win at Colchester on Tuesday.

Colchester ‘keeper Dean Gerken was the busy of the two in the early stages of the match with him twice having to deny Matty Fryatt. Mark Yeates had the home sides best chance but his finish was high and wide.

After a goalless first half the guests took the lead shortly after the break when Lloyd Dyer (49) scored. Gerken saved again from Steve Howard and Fryatt again as they went in search of another, although Yeates was denied an equaliser by the bar near the end of the match.
