Leicester City youth striker Ashley Chambers tonight scored a vital goal to help England Under 16’s earn the right to play in the Montaigu Tournament in France come April.

Chambers scored an equalising penalty against Belgium at KFC Heist after Leeds’ pacy forward Danny Rose had been fouled on a mazy dribble.

Arsenal’s Henri Lansbury headed the second-half winner in a 2-1 victory which means that England will meet teams from China, Tunisia and the hosts, France in the April tournament.

Leicester defender Joe Mattock was also included in the starting line-up, both now being established as regulars in Kenny Swain’s side.
