Leicester defender Sol Bamba has been ruled out of the Foxes’ Easter weekend clashes with a hamstring strain.
The Ivory Coast defender limped off during the 3-1 defeat to Reading on Saturday only 11 minutes into the second half, and will now miss City’s next two matches against Nottingham Forest and Watford.
Foxes boss Sven-Goran Eriksson said: “Sol has damaged his hamstring and I am told by the physio it will be at least two weeks, although he will have a scan and we will know more then.
“It is a blow as Sol has been very good for us.”
Bamba has featured as the only ever-present centre-back under Eriksson, making 18 appearances since sealing a move from Hibernian in January.
