Manager Claudio Ranieri was delighted to see Leicester City reach the magical 40 point mark in the first game of 2016 earlier today.
Playing out a scoreless draw with Bournemouth at the King Power Stadium, Ranieri explained to the media in his post game interviews that he was pretty happy with how the day went because whilst Bournemouth had opportunities to win it – Leicester had a good couple of chances to take all three points aswell.
With the mantra being one game at a time though and just focusing on hitting 40 points before attentions where allowed to drift elsewhere despite the first half of the season the club has had, Ranieri was content to see that target hit and now the club can raise their aspirations a little for the future.
The club are now two shy of Arsenal in top spot, but remain – at this moment in time – four points clear of Manchester City who are one nil down to Watford.
