Ajdarevic Joins on Loan

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has swooped to sign young Liverpool midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic on loan until the end of the season.

The 18 year-old Swedish under-17 international joins the Foxes after his recent trial which saw him play in the reserves’ 3-0 victory over an English Colleges XI last week.

Ajdarevic joined the Reds from Falkenbergs FF in 2007 and subsequently helped their youth team to FA Cup glory.

Pearson: ‘We have taken the option to take Astrid on loan to give us the chance to take a further look at him. We will see how things progress.
