Richie Wellens has blamed a ‘whacky 10 minutes’ for our loss to Doncaster.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury our captain on the day said that he believed overall we should’ve taken something from the game, but it was the ‘whacky 10 minutes’ where we didn’t cope as well as we should’ve done that cost us.

‘I thought we started well and had a good first half. It wasn’t a good game but I thought we dealt with what they had quite well. However, we had a whacky 10 minutes when we couldn’t deal with the balls in our box.’

Wellens knows the soft underbelly, as Nigel Pearson called it, has led to us conceding a number of soft goals lately and it’s something that needs to be addressed quickly.

‘The goals we are conceding at the moment are poor. This is the second week on the trot. People are switching off. We should have won, it was the same against Peterborough.’
