Sven-Goran Eriksson has admitted that against Reading, Leicester were simply not good enough today.

Speaking to lcfc.com you can tell that Sven was clearly not happy with the efforts today.

‘I hope that was not the real Leicester City that we saw today. It was frustrating, and I share the disappointment of the supporters. That is not how we should play and not how anyone wants us to play.’

Eriksson will clearly be expecting the team to show a proper response in our next match as he added.

‘Thankfully, we only have a few days until the next game and that gives us the opportunity to put things right and show that this was a one off.’

Like many, I think I’m off to drown my sorrows after today. But we will have days like this, so we can’t be too down about it.

If anything it should serve as a good, early, reminder to the players that despite the expectation and our favourites tag for promotion, we still need to put the effort in, and take our chances when they come or games will go horribly wrong.
