It’s being reported that Leicester City are looking at Watford striker Troy Deeney as a potential replacement for Arsenal bound Jamie Vardy, and we also apparently have an interest in Mario Lemina.

Dealing with the Deeney speculation firstly, it’s said that with Watford putting a £15million price tag on his head, Leicester are ready to match that offer in order for us to speak to him about a potential move ahead of the coming campaign.

The 27 year old more than knows where the net is, having proven that during his time at Vicarage Road, and with him skippering them in 43 appearances last season in their return to the Premier League, he also found the net 15 times across the campaign.

Not a like for like with Vardy should he go, but he more than has assets of his own.

As for the Italian Champions, it’s also said we are interested in making a £15million offer for Lemina. The Gabon international spent the campaign on loan with them from Marseille and he has now joined them permanently but with the continents practice of loaning a player, buying him and then immediately selling him on for profit – this isn’t as far fetched as it would sound in terms of a deal.

Especially as they paid £7million to secure his permanent capture, and £15million would represent good quick business for them.

Presumably some of the driver for this deal is continuing speculation surrounding N’Golo Kante.
