Jamie Vardy is enjoying a more relaxed international break, but says he can’t wait to get back onto the pitch when normal football resumes.

Speaking to lcfc.com Vardy said his focus was on our next game against Wolves where hopefully we’ll build on the Blackpool result.

‘Blackpool was a big confidence booster, but we’ve got a big game against Wolves coming up which will be another big test, but I’m confident we can get another three points.’

Vardy’s certainly seemed to settle in better than most thought when he first signed, and he does look like he’ll get a hat-full with the chances we are creating when on form. This level doesn’t seem beyond him and he could become a key player for Pearson as the season draws on.
