Leicester City’s Under 18 squad made it four wins in four games to consolidate their position below Aston Villa at the top of the Premier Academy League this morning.

They did it in style too with a 4-0 away win against fourth placed Tottenham.

All four goals came in the first half, including one each from Ashley Chambers and Joe Mattock on return from the successful England Under 16 International in Belgium.

Jay Smedley, in his second full game after injury collected another and the fourth went to fast-emerging striker Eric Odhiambo.

Leicester now have 37 points from 21 games, having recently caught and passed local rivals Coventry to climb into the runner-up position in the table with Aston Villa still well clear at the top.
