Bottom of the league Cheltenham Town are the visitors to the Walkers Stadium as Leicester seek the opportunity to end their four game drawing streak at home.

Cheltenham currently occupy 24th place in League One and already look destined for League Two football next year. Times are difficult at Whaddon Road under ex-Foxes boss Martin Allen with the club in crippling financial difficulties.

Leicester’s promotion hopes could hugely helped tomorrow with three points to keep the pressure on the chasing pack.

Vital Quotes:

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: ‘It is a game again that we are expected to win and I know it will be a tough game.

‘I’ll expect our players to go out there and put on a good performance and do all they can to get the three points because that’s what matters’.

Cheltenham manager Martin Allen: ‘Leicester have a completely different team from when I was there. Nigel Pearson has done a fantastic job in re-modelling it for this division and they are a very good side. It’s a great club with an awesome following of passionate, loyal fans and a great stadium and training ground. The club is steeped in history and for our players it’s a great place to go and play.

Leicester City Team News:

Leicester will be without Wayne Brown who is suffering from a calf injury after limping off in the Foxes’ 2-2 draw at MK Dons.

David Martin is still out so David Stcokdale will retain his place in goal.

Player to watch: Matt Oakley

The Leicester captain has been a key player in Leicester’s run to the top of the league so far this season and will need to make sure his team get the job done tomorrow.

Cheltenham Town Team News:

Cheltenham will be without Ashley Vincent who is sidelined for three weeks with a knee injury.

Nicholas Bignall is being treated at parent club Reading so may not be ready to travel with the squad.

Player to watch: Scott Brown

Arguably Cheltenham’s best player, the goalkeeper will have to be at his best tomorrow to keep out Leicester’s attack.
