Three of former Leicester manager Ian Holloway’s backroom staff have been confirmed as having followed him out of the club.

Des Bulpin, Tim Breaker and Gary Penrice, who had all previously worked with Holloway at Plymouth, following him to Leicester when he arrived, have all left by mutual consent. But as he told lcfc.co.uk Milan Mandaric thanked them and wished them well ‘I would like to thank Des, Tim and Gary for all their efforts and we wish them well for the future.’

This isn’t a surprise at all is it as Nigel Pearson was always going to want to have his own people in place, with Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh confirmed as new appointments on what has been a hectic day at the Walkers!

Shakespeare will work as Assistant Manager to Pearson as well as First Team Coach, with Walsh combining the roles as Assistant Manager and Head of Recruitment.
