Sven-Goran Eriksson has highlighted our need to keep and use the ball better during games, and he’s seen plenty of positive signs in training.

Speaking to lcfc.com as the Foxes look to go two for two in wins following the Southampton game, Sven again talked about the improvements he saw against the Saints, and he believes we have improved further during training and are much closer to being at our best.

‘We don’t have as many points as we want in the table, so Saturday is an important game. I think we are getting there. Part of the game against Southampton was very good, training has been looking good and hopefully we’ll be ready to make a good performance on Saturday.’

It’s clear what Sven has been drilling into the players on the training field from his following words.

‘We have to keep the ball better than we have been doing. Possession of the ball – I should like to see us keeping it a little better than we have before.’
