Sven-Goran Eriksson has confirmed he will again shake the squad up for the Carling Cup, and Michael Johnson looks set for his debut.

Speaking to Wales Online Sven said that Leicester were still taking the cups seriously, despite our priority being the league, but it was of course an opportunity to give other players some pitch time.

‘We want to go through to the next round, but we will alter things. It’s a good opportunity for other players. Matt Oakley is out with a back problem, but Steve Howard might start and on loan Michael Johnson will start for sure.’

Another chance for Chris Weale, maybe Sean St Ledger? There’s certainly a number of changes that Sven can make.

Will be interesting to see his final choices.
