Paulo Sousa has moved for his fourth capture of the summer after completing the signing of right back Michael Lamey on a free transfer.

Lamey had been training with the Foxes for around two weeks, and started the friendly match against Sunderland last weekend at the Walkers Stadium.

The 30-year-old impressed in an attacking performance, and has done enough to earn himself a contract with Sousa’s Leicester.

The Dutchman has featured for a number of clubs in his homeland including PSV Eindhoven, AZ Alkmaar and Utrecht.

Most recently Lamey played for German side Arminia Bielefield, where he made almost 50 appearances for the second division side.

The transfer remains subject to international clearance, so Lamey may not feature in tomorrow’s Carling Cup clash with Macclesfield.
