Leicester City have announced that six players will be released when their contracts expire this summer.

Elliott Chamberlain, Steve Howard, Matt Oakley, Aleksandar Tunchev, Darius Vassell and Chris Weale have not been offered extensions by the club and will be free to find another club when their contracts expire on June 30.

In a brief statement, Leicester said.

‘The Club would like to place on record its thanks to all six players for their hard work and professionalism during their time in City blue and wish them well in the future.’
