Leicester City’s assistant manager Craig Shakespeare has said he is hopeful a deal for Billy Sharp can be done.

Speaking to the BBC he said.

‘Talks are on going and we hope that can be resolved quickly.’

A fee has been agreed with the club and negotiations with the 25 year old striker are ongoing.

Doncaster have also offered the player a much improved deal to stay.
