Following his Carling Cup exploits, Jeff Schlupp is hoping he has played his way into Sven’s plans for our first game at the King Power.

Speaking to lcfc.com the 18 year old striker said.

‘It’s the first home game of the season and, after seeing the reception the team got at the Real Madrid game, I’d love to be involved. It’s a massive game for us in front of our own supporters, so I hope I’ve done enough to put myself in the pecking order.’

I’d be surprised if he started the game, but I can certainly see Sven rewarding him with 30 minutes.
