Preston boss Phil Brown has said that no club currently interested in Sean St.Ledger have tabled a bid that has tempted them to sell.

There have been numerous reports that Leicester are favourites and even a few rumours that St.Ledger has undergone a medical, but according to Brown, that is all nonsense.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury he said.

‘There is a lot of speculation and paper talk about him, there have been bids on the table for him, but nothing substantial enough yet to wet the whistle of the owner.’

It’s believed that Leicester have offered around £750,000 but that PNE are holding out for seven figures. How high those seven figures need to be will no doubt be discovered over the next few weeks.
