Nigel Pearson has said that although he may make changes for our final match of the season, he expects us to go out there and win it.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the clash against Leeds, Pearson knows a win sets us up nicely for our next campaign but there’s a chance we might see some fresh faces as he plans for the future.

‘There will be a few changes. It’s a game between two sides that cannot achieve anything in terms of reaching the play offs, so it may be an opportunity to look at one or two players. I want to see a performance where they are determined to win, I think we owe it to ourselves and our fans to put on a good performance and we’d like to finish with a win.’

Maybe a few of the youngsters, or more fringe players, but Pearson does say he expects a positive performance from whoever he selects.
