Nigel Pearson has said he will deal with Jermaine Beckford internally after reports surfaced that his refusal to go up for a freekick against Peterborough would lead to him being sold in the summer.

Speaking to Sky Sports the gaffer said.

‘I wasn’t happy and I will deal with those sorts of things internally. It wasn’t something I wanted to see. The fans will have their opinions, as do I, we were trying to get back into the game but I will be dealing with things behind the scenes.’

Fans certainly have their opinions on this and to be fair most seem torn. Whatever the right or wrong of the situation though it’s another unfortunate discipline issue at the club.
