After a long drawn out, and speculation filled, time without a manager Nigel Pearson has returned to the Foxes.

The announcement was made late last night that a deal had been agreed with Hull for our former manager to return to us to pick up where Sven left off.

Sadly I was in bed – forgive me!

Pearson signs on until the end of the 2013-14 season and will be joined by assistant managers Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh.

Shakespeare will take charge of coaching duties, whilst Walsh’s remit will be recruitment.

The first training session took place today, and the club have provided a Photo Gallery for interested fans.

Speaking to lcfc.com vice chairman, Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn said of the capture.

‘We are very pleased to have secured the services of Nigel, Craig and Steve and we are sure that they are the men to lead this club forward. They achieved a great deal during their last spell at the club, and we are sure that this time around, with everyone’s support and endeavour they can take us one step further.’
