Pearson Looking For Improvement

Nigel Pearson has said he is targeting an improvement as the season goes on, because he knows we should be a few points better off than we currently are.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the tight 1-0 victory over Blackpool, the boss said.

‘I think it’s an illustration of the Championship that, four games in, we’ve won half our games but we’ve lost two as well, which is something we’ve got to improve on. We could easily be four points better off, but we’re not. But I’m pleased for the players that they bounced back.’

Pearson also added with the penalty controversy that he feels we did enough over the game to have won anyway, in either case he adds ‘I’ve seen the one that was given and I can see why.’

After Blackburn it’s possibly only fair we possibly had the rub of the green.
