Nigel Pearson has again slammed poor refereeing for our failure to take all three points in today’s contest with Nottingham Forest.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the 2-2 draw and that dodgy penalty, Pearson said.

‘You can tell I’m not happy about it and I’ve seen on the TV again and basically it’s a good challenge. He gets the ball, the referee is in a good position, full stop.’

As for our overall performance, Pearson thinks we did more than enough to take all 3 points, even allowing for the derby aspects.

‘I thought we did ok today, it’s always going to be a tight game and I’m sure they’ll be delighted with the point. I thought we played pretty well today, did enough to win. That’s life, there will be other days I’m sure.’
