Nigel Pearson is seething following his half time sending off for telling the referee where to go when he walked into the dressing room.

Leicester are still waiting to find out if Pearson will be charged over the incident, but clearly he is not going to take any charge lightly if the FA pursue it following his comments to the Leicester Mercury.

‘When I was a child, I was brought up to believe that you should pay respect to people when you are trying to interrupt them. I have taught my kids the same way, and when I am talking to my players about how we are going to go about the second half and I am rudely interrupted by somebody in my own space, without them being invited into the dressing room, then I am well within my rights to tell them where to go. It will be interesting and I can’t wait to see the referee’s report and the fall out from this because, if it comes to the pint where I have to appeal against it, I can’t wait.’

Handbags at the ready!
