Nigel Pearson has admitted he is both disappointed and frustrated following our 3-2 loss to Bristol City.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the game Pearson admitted it was almost like a case of two steps forward and one step back as our consistency again has been called into question.

‘The goals we conceded tonight were poor goals and it’s really frustrating because when you score twice away from home you should be able to win any game. When we know the margin of error (in the league table) is so slight for us, to give away three goals like that is not good enough.’

There are still obvious positives that Pearson can take from the game, but with a loss like that even the positives are tinged with a touch of bitterness.

‘I lost count of the number of opportunities we had, when really you have to score. I think they only had two or three attacks of meaning in the second half and yet they’ve scored two goals. We’ve got to be more clinical, it’s as simple as that.’
