Nigel Pearson was delighted to see Jermaine Beckford get on the scoresheet against Palace, and he’s tipped the 27 year old to really find his form over the coming weeks.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury Pearson said Beckford was important to his plans and he believed he would only get better now he’s got some confidence behind him.

‘I hope he can go on a run now and I hope he feels good about himself. His record is good. He has been positive and I was really pleased with him.’
