At the final whistle on Saturday the Leicester fans that had travelled to Pride Park will have left moaning about the same things that they seemed to have been moaning about for the last twelve months.

A 3rd goal in 3 games for Jon Stead gave Derby a 1-0 win and means that they are only 3 points off the automatic promotion places.

Unfortunately for Leicester they once again failed to create anything going forward and although the defence looked comfortably enough, one lapse of concentration lead to Leicester going a goal down and they seemed incapable of coming back.

The Leicester players and fans can point to a disallowed goal in the 85th minute, which would have given City a draw, However, the linesman had given a free kick to Derby after Richard Stearman supposedly handled the ball.

Admittedly Leicester are struggling with injuries and as a result have been forced to play players out of position, but the overall performance of the team over recent weeks has dropped.

Fans can suggest that the Milan Mandaric takeover talk has led to the players worrying about their positions in the squad rather then the teams position in the table, but this seems too much of an easy excuse.

The Leicester players will not have to wait too long to try and turn things around. The team have to travel to Carrow Road tomorrow to face Norwich City. Those fans that do make the long journey will hope by the end of the night, they won`t be moaning about the same thing again.
