Oh no it’s Johnno!

Here at Vital Leicester we always encourage input from members who have something to say about the team, whether it be positive or negative. We recently received an email for a Leicester fan who had something they wanted to get off their chest?.

‘Although the recent run of results have seen Leicester pick up some points and move up the Championship table there is still something that is driving me crazy.

How Andy Johnson manages to get himself on the teamsheet every week is beyond me. He has no pace what so ever and whenever he does get the ball he seems to give it to the nearest opposition player.

I realise that the majority of managers have their ‘favourite` players who seem to always find themselve in the starting Xl and Johnson seems to be Kelly`s man. Although why Kelly continues to stick with him is baffling.

Since his summer move from West Brom he hasn`t even come close to filling the boots of Joey Gudjonsson and seems to be the one black mark Rob Kelly has in the transfer market.

Everytime Johnson is on the pitch the game just seems to pass him by. Infact the quickest I have ever seen Johnson move in a Leicester shirt is when he is pulling the hair away from his eyes.

Hopefully it is only the shortage of centre midfielders that is keeping Johnson in the team and with James Wesoloski almost fully fit we will not have to put up with ‘Johnno` for much longer.`
