Ahmed Musa’s agent has said his client won’t be leaving England this summer and he rubbished reports suggesting Leicester City were talking to Fenerbahce.

A few days back it was reported that Musa could be on his way to Fenerbahce with sketchy reports saying that a deal had been agreed ‘in principle’.

That certainly isn’t the case according to Musa’s agent, Tony Harris, who was quoted by BBC journalist Oluwashina Okeleji on twitter as saying.

‘(The Fenerbahce reports are) rumours. There’s no truth in that. Fenerbahce is a decent club of course however Musa will not be leaving England.’

Having moved from CSKA Moscow last summer for £16million, Musa hasn’t had a great spell with us so far but short of confirming the 24 year old would be staying in the country, there’s certainly no confirmation that he’ll be remaining at Leicester itself.

The standing opinion is that Leicester are open to offers and he’s certainly open to a move and you would think a departure is likely, so if anything it’s just closed the Turkey rumours down.
