Leicester City confirmed yesterday that Ahmed Musa had returned to former club CSKA Moscow on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

Having signed for Leicester City back in the summer of 2016 for a reported £16.6million, Musa has made 14 starting appearances for the club with a further 19 showings from the bench. He returned five goals across those games, but has only featured once for us this season back in the EFL Cup against Sheffield United back in August. He has had a run out with our Under 23’s in the EFL Trophy loss to Oldham Athletic earlier this month.

The 25 year old returns to his former side and he’ll be hoping for good game timee given his spell with them previously saw him find the net over 50 times.

CSKA sit fifth in the table and they are on a winter break until March so he has plenty of time to settle back into life in Russia.
