It was being reported yesterday that Ahmed Musa had agreed ‘in principle’ to move from Leicester City this summer to Fenerbahce.

Turkish outlet Gunes are credited as being the original source for this and the suggestion is that talks are ongoing between both clubs and they claim that Musa answered ‘yes’ to a question on whether or not he’d be happy to head to Fenerbahce.

The former CSKA Moscow player has had a mixed time since he arrived last summer for a reported £16.6million, as last season he found starting opportunities limited to only 13 games, making 19 appearances from the bench as Claudio Ranieri and then Craig Shakespeare kept faith with Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki.

It’s long been rumoured he’d likely be off this summer given the game time he got, so it wouldn’t be a great surprise to see this deal go through.

The main question is with a return of four goals for us, how close to breaking even on the transfer fee can we get.
