It’s being reported that Matt Mills move to Bolton is back on, and Lee Peltier’s switch to Leeds has gone through.

The Leicester Mercury state that the deal for Mills to move on loan to Bolton with an eye for a permanent move next year stalled because Mills and Leicester couldn’t agree on severance payment, but it’s believed a deal is close to being struck and should be agreed when parties meet next week.

Leaving the way open for Coyle to get his man for a £1m upfront, and then a further £1m at the end of the loan to make it a permanent switch.

They also suggest that the £350,000 transfer of Lee Peltier to Leeds United has been agreed and the paperwork will go through once Leeds’ takeover goes through.

Pelts’ replacement is again said to be James Chester from Hull.

Now it’s clear Mills has no future at the club, although it is somewhat sad to see him move on in this manner given his overall performance levels, but Pelts is a strange one for me. Admittedly I don’t know much about Chester, but I’m not 100% convinced he would be an improvement and it also seems a very low fee for him to leave on.

Oh well in Pearson we trust.
