Leicester City have confirmed that Matt Mills has joined Bolton.

LCFC does not make it clear whether it is a year long loan deal initially, before it turns into a permanent deal or whether it’s a straight transfer now.

Interestingly, they also don’t wish him well for the future.

The Leicester Mercury carry a few more details by saying the 25 year old has joined the club on a 3 year contract, so the daft loan element must have been dropped.

It’s also suggested that Leicester have taken at least a £3m hit compared to the fee we paid for him.

In other news it’s expected that Lee Peltier will join Leeds by the end of the week, and it’s also being reported that we have lodged a £500,000 bid for Robert Koren, but Hull manager Steve Bruce is denying any knowledge of this.
