Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson, has joined Leicester City on loan until the end of the season.

The 23 year old becomes Sven’s 9th addition to the squad this summer, and it’s believed he won’t be the last.

Speaking to lcfc.com Eriksson said.

‘Michael was a great talent when I worked with him at Manchester City. His talent should have seen that he became a regular for England, but injuries have prevented that. I am convinced that Michael will be an asset for us.’

If he can keep injury free and rediscover his form, he will be a phenomenal player for us.

  • How many central midfielders do you want! Gelson Fernandes on his way too! That makes it King, Oakley, Abe, Wellens, Johnson and Danns. Coming up on tomorrow with my Leicester supporting mate from Northampton, looking forward to it. Matt at Vital Northampton.
