Leicester City face Crystal Palace in our next Premier League fixture and we now know who is in charge.
The game on Saturday, April 28 at Selhurst Park sees Mike Dean take charge as referee.
The assistant referee roles go to Ian Hussin and Daniel Robathan, with the fourth official named as Neil Swarbrick.
Dean has taken charge of 27 games so far this campaign, showing 102 yellow cards and three red cards. He was busiest in the Premier League tie between Bournemouth and Manchester City at the end of August where he showed ten yellow cards and one red card.
In terms of Leicester this season, he took charge of the season opener against Arsenal and the October game against West Bromwich Albion. In both of those games, Leicester won a point and he showed five yellow cards.
In 2016/17 he was in the middle for clashes against Hull City (home and away), Manchester United, Burnley, and Crystal Palace. Those games returned four points from an available 15.
It’s fair to say he’s not our best lucky omen when it comes to officials but hopefully, we can address that record this weekend.
