Milan Mandaric has vowed that he will not walk away from Leicester despite their relegation into League One: ‘I am not going to leave the club. We have to look forward, re-organise and get back into the Championship,’ Mandaric told BBC Radio Leicester. ‘I’m bitterly disappointed. The only thing we can get out of this is to become a stronger club going forward, stay united and re-organise ourselves and build a strong base.

‘If people trust me I will always come through for them and I think this will be the same.

‘If I said I didn’t have regrets I would be lying to you. You don’t have to be Einstein to figure out we are in the business of results and the results aren’t there.

‘We have see what was done right and wrong, correct it quickly and immediately and go forward to win games and show Leicester City in a new colour.’

Mandaric refused to be drawn on the speculation surrounding the position of Foxes boss Ian Holloway, but he does seem to be hinting that maybe another change could be made: ‘I will hopefully learn if there have been mistakes on selection and will probably correct those and make better ones if that’s needed to be done.’

Is Mandaric doing the doing the right thing by sticking with Leicester, and will he dispense of yet another manager or will he give Holloway more time to right the wrongs?

Well it wasn’t always a smooth ride whist he was in charge at Pompey. He did make us successful eventually but to be fair though his money kept us going & obviously paid the big wages, it Harry Redknapp that made us successful. You don’t have a Harry & you are unlikely to for quite a while.
