Despite the fact that Paul Dickov seemed to have rejected the chance of a possible return to Leicester in favour of a move to the American Major League Milan Mandaric remains hopeful of bringing the veteran back to the Walkers Stadium.
Dickov, 35, is in talks with Canadian club FC Toronto, who play in the MLS, about a move to North America but Mandaric has said that City are remaining in contact with him and nothing has been agreed with them so he might yet still return to City.
The Scottish striker scored an impressive 37 goals in 97 matches for City during his spell with the club, but it was his all-round contribution that made him such a City favourite before his departure for Blackburn, which left a sour taste at the nature of it.

Getting desperate already.
Desperate?
Not really on a par with his famous swoop for an ageing Robert Prosinecki some years ago, although could be a good signing for you if you get him.
Dickov’s one of those players that everyone loves to hate.
Trust in Milan and all will be ok
If only Milan could pull off a swoop for a player like the Croatian. I’m happy with what Milan is doing, he only wants the best for us I’m sure.
