Radostin Kishishev has revealed that his countryman Aleksander Tunchev decided to move to Leicester as the longer-term, bigger picture the club has planned excited him.

Kishishev said that Tunchev’s decision to come to Leicester surprised many back in their homeland of Bulgaria, as other clubs throughout out Europe, mainly at a higher level had paid an interest but Milan Mandaric’s vision for the club, and what Kishishev himself told Tunchev about Leicester is what swayed him.

The newest Foxes recruit is currently back in Bulgaria awaiting the issue of a work permit, but once this is issued he can get to work with the club and hopefully enhance his reputation further.

Easy route into the club with language/culture…..and I dare say he’s on a fair old whack of money isn’t he. I doubt it was the long-term prospects that would persuade a 26-year old to sign!
