BBC Radio Leicester were banned from asking any questions at today’s press conference.

The bizarre turn of events was revealed to fans on presenter Ian Stringer’s Twitter page, the former-Apprentice star saying: ‘BBC Radio Leicester have not been allowed to ask questions at the Leicester City press conference today.’

It is thought that manager Nigel Pearson reacted negatively to questions about his lack of activity in the technical area in City’s last two matches, Stringer apparently unaware of Pearson’s recent back problems.

Stringer also revealed news about winger Lloyd Dyer’s possible return from injury tomorrow evening, another reason as to why the club could be unimpressed.

With Pearson seemingly annoyed by questions asked by Stringer on a match-by-match basis it is perhaps an unsurprising conclusion, but whatever the reasons, fans of the club will hope that this petty issue can be resolved soon enough.
