It’s being reported that Leicester are now on the verge of smashing their 14 year old transfer record fee with the signing of Leonardo Ulloa.

The 27 year old Brighton and Hove Albion striker scored 16 goals across all competitions last season, and we have been linked with him for most of the summer, with Brighton turning down offers already, but it’s said that we may have reached an agreement on a £7million fee.

Ulloa has returned home from their pre season tour of Spain so it certainly looks like something is afoot.

Oh previous record transfer fee was Ade Akinbiyi for £5.5million back in the summer of 2000.
