Leicester City have rejected an offer for Andy King from Nottingham Forest.

There had been various rumblings that Forest were interested in the midfielder, and it’s now been confirmed that they did make an official enquiry as to his availability and the club told them that he was not for sale.

This obviously comes following our rejection of numerous bids for goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel from Hull.

So pleasingly Nigel Pearson is adamant he will keep our top players, and then add quality so we can achieve promotion at the next time of asking.

Speculation continues that QPR and Reading are interested in Lloyd Dyer.

However it’s believed a list of seven players have been circulated to other clubs and the names on that are Richie Wellens, Sean St Ledger, Jermaine Beckford, Neil Danns, Paul Gallagher, Martyn Waghorn and unexpectedly Danny Drinkwater.
