Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn says Leicester must still earn the right to be considered promotion challengers.

Quoted in the Leicester Mercury he told the Boxing Day match magazine that having ambitions are one thing, but earning the right to be considered challengers is something that the club failed to do in 2011.

‘In 2011, we haven’t earned that right so in the next game and in 2012 we must play catch up and work together. It is fine to be ambitious but we don’t expect anything to be given to us.’

Raksriaksorn is however still confident that we can achieve our aim this season.

‘Of course we can, there is a long way to go this season and the division is very tight and competitive. Nigel has already spoken about changing the mentality of the players and he is the man to do this.’
