Leicester’s Champions League season continued with a win against Porto at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

A 100% record in the Champions League was maintained by Leicester as a first home match in the competition was won with former Champions Porto seen off one-nil, with them now without a win in 17-matches against English opposition.

Club record signing Slimani had an impressive record against Porto when he played for Sporting Lisbon, which he continued when he headed a cross from Mahrez past Casillas midway through the second half.

Porto were denied by the post when Corona, who had come off the bench, struck the frame of the goal via a deflection off Albrighton with this win putting Leicester two-points ahead of FC Copenhagen, the next opponents in October.

The Premier League defence hasn’t started well with three from the opening six-matches lost but in this competition things are so far going very well.
