Leeds United have officially confirmed that they have accepted an undisclosed offer from Leicester City for goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
A statement on Leeds’s Official Site says.
‘Leeds United can confirm that the club has accepted an offer from Leicester City.’
Leeds gaffer Simon Grayson added in the statement.
‘We feel this is the right deal for the club. Given the fact he has one year remaining on his contract, this is in the best interests of Leeds United.’
There is no official confirmation from the Foxes yet, but you would like to imagine that subject to a medical, personal terms won’t take too long.
I hope I’m right in saying welcome to the club Kasper. I seriously rate this young man between the sticks and at 24 he will only get better with age.

Hope this is true, although it seems to be heading that way. A very solid keeper who would do well at Leicester.
Yeah his old man’s fame held him back a little when he first started as too many thought he would be on that level immediately it seemed, but over the last few years he’s really started finding his feet and putting in the performances that suited his talked about potential. Could well be the signing of the summer for me to be honest, I rate him that highly.
