Paul Konchesky has said the team are more than capable of ignoring the off pitch distractions that will come with Nigel Pearson’s return to Hull this weekend.

Speaking to lcfc.com the defender said.

‘It’s obviously going to be tough, he’s only recently left there and he was doing good things at Hull, he left them in a good position and it’ll be tough for him going back but there’s only one thing on his mind – and our minds – winning the game to stay in the play offs.’

Konchesky goes on to say that he doesn’t believe players are really affected by these sorts of things as it tends to happen reasonably regularly in a career. If it’s not a manager switch, it’s a player transfer, so it’s nothing special to be built up.
