Andy King has said he is relishing pre season training even though it’s difficult, it’s nice to be back and know you are preparing for the season proper.

Speaking to lcfc.com King said he wasn’t alone in being ready for whatever Pearson throws at them this season, and that will include the graft required to get through pre season.

‘You always know it’s going to be tough, but that’s how it has to be. They don’t make us run for the sake of it, it’s all worked out by the sports science and medical staff so that we’re where we need to be as we count down to the first game. If we put the hard work in early, the games will come round quickly and I’m sure everyone’s looking forward to getting back playing again.’

It’s going to be an important season in terms of promotion after last seasons disappointment, and I’m sure the players know exactly what they have to do this time round.
