Vital Leicester understands that Leicester City could be making Bristol City goalkeeper Chris Weale their fourth summer signing of the season.

Weale, 27, played on loan at fellow League One club Yeovil Town last season, incredibly scoring in the dying minutes against Hereford United to salvage a point for the Glovers.

And it now appears as though Nigel Pearson will swoop for the Bristol City goalkeeper.

Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric sounded out interest for the player two weeks ago, saying ‘He is one of the targets our goalkeeping coach has got. He’s got very very big positive marks when we saw him, so he is one of our targets of course. It is no secret to our supporters, who we are quite open with, that we need a good goalkeeper.’

You can read any further developments right here on Vital Leicester as we receive them.
