Howard set for Championship return?

Only yesterday Steve Howard was talking about the season ahead with Leicester and how much he wanted to be a part of helping us battle our way back into the Championship, but some reports are saying that this return might come sooner rather than later.

Norwich gaffer Glen Roeder has already been linked with Howard this summer, but it is now believed that the City striker, 32, is high on his list of priorities, in fact his prime target.

Howard, who was signed for £1.5m, has featured in pre-season and scored as well but despite his recent comments which suggested a commitment to City it is also believed that he would like to return to the Championship if the offer was right, as he has dropped from the Premier League to League one in less than six-months.
